Eng Oil Temp

  clio 20v

well actually its in the block not the head hehe

take bonnet, rad and front panel off and u can get easy access to it

might be worth seeing if u can get hold of another gauge panel to try first as its much easier to get gauges out

adi

Its not the gauge I dont think-I had to replace them anyway as mine had a smashed front and I can get the dial needle to work by applying a voltage to the back of the guage.

Admitidly I havnt checked for a voltage from the loom but i was going to make sure the sender and its wiring were ok as they are the vulnerable bits.

more than likely find its a dodgy spade or it may have fallen off. They usually do.

The oil pressure gauge sender at the back of the engine likes to perform this trick as well.
