Its just High temp paint from halfords. Was a really cheep job to do, makes a big difference imo too. Yeah i was so close to buying the black paint. Its aluminium now, looks a lil bit white to me though. better then before though!

tis nice, think i might do the same
Whats the name of the paint? high temp silver paint or summit?

Looks nice, Polishing the Renault Sport text on the top of the engine to a mirror finish would look nice.

If you know what i mean, just the top of the text.

Thanks, i was putting it off for ages as my skills with cars aren't that great but it wasn't a hard job at all. Hardest part was trying to find a bolt that i dropped! - behind the manifold heat sheild!

Yeah i thought that, how would i do that??

I think sandpaper of a block of wood or something, so it sands just the top. Working in grit. 600,1200, 1500, 2000, 3000 etc? dont think it would take much work. Just make sure the sandpaper sits flat.

thats that sounds like it should work, some really fine paper. Cheers

Looks great, I'll have to do something liek that soon, mine is not clean enough and I hate those red marker things they do here....grrrr

Looks good. What parts of the engine did you take off to do it or just tape it up?

Been wanting to do my callipers for ages, a project for the summer I think!

Id introduce another colour as said above, perhaps Yellow? I always think going with two colours makes a car, then get some samco hoses to match, lovley!

Did you wire brush the callipers to get the excess rust off?

Dan

Just removed my Engine Cover and that is now drying in the Garden to be Lacquered Tomorrow and I've already got some Hammermite to do my Calipers so I may try and Polish Up my Renaultsport Text aswell..... Looks Nice and Tidy by the way.. 2 colour Theme would break it up nicely

good work mate, an easy effective tidy up for the bay.

Have to say the calipers look miles better when not minging brown!
