Engine bay cleaner

Anyone recommend me a good engine bay cleaner, and what the hell i should do with it.

megs all purpose cleaner (APC) use it on all sorts! obviously a stronger soloution for the engine bay

Autoglym Engine and Machine Cleaner or Meguiars Super Degreaser - APC does not cut it for me on most engine bays.

^^^ Its alright on minebut i could possibly see how you may need some stronger stuff for crappy engines

APC tends to need some agitation and work, Autoglym Engine and Machine just makes the grime fall off !

Yeah that Autoglym Engine and Machine cleaner stuff is fooking awesome. Must be pure acid or something lol.

Cheers guys, should i wrap a bag around the battery and alarm stuff?

I'd work on a warm engine, and wrap up electrics.
