Engine bay cleaning .... help!

hi all well with these winter months the cars bay is startin to look shabby, really want to get it back lookin spotless again
does anyone no of any good safe products and techniques to be using when cleaning the engine bay bare in mind i have itbs so dont really wana go splashing water around!
any help will be hugely appreciated!

G101 (multi purpose cleaner) will shift most of the crap, spray on and agitate with a brush, then carefully rinse off.

will this remove the salt from my rocker cover

not sure, its quite good at shifting stains and grease depending on how you dilute it.

I was thinking of cleaning engine bay but surely you can use much water to rinse products off?

Megs apc or AG engine machine cleaner. Scrub and wipe all you can. And then dress the black bits with AG bumper care and use AG rubber care for rubber bits.
