Engine Bay Cleanup

Righty I need some advice on how to get the engine bay nice and clean. At the minute it is very dirrrty and was wondering what products too get hold of.

I have seen some of your bays and must say the look gleaming so let me in on your secrets please

When I bought my car the engine bay was filthy, so I got one of them steam
cleans. Then I went round with super resin auto glym on all the paint work.. and
(dont laugh) window cleaner on all the plastic parts. The neighbours thought I was slightly derranged when I started hoovering it though!

Hoover is essential for the sound deadening on the under bonnet lol

yes and the little bit of carpet at the rear of the engine bay too, must not forget that, lol.

ha, first thing i did when i got my it makes the biggest difference

i find the really long dyson attatchment helps to get back there
