engine bay to cabin mk2 172

wanna run a cable from the engine bay into the cabin, had a gander but there insulation everywhere!

where is the best way to gain access through the bulkhead?

Through the bonnet release cable grommet in the bulkhead.

Ah - i see where ur coming from!!

I saw that behind the glovebox, but in the engine bay its hidden behind the power steering fluid bottle, and a layer of that sound deadening stuff.

do I have to take any bits off??
