Engine cleaning

Im rebuilding a GTT engine at the mo, and was wondering whats the best way to clean all the shite off the engine parts ready for painting. whats the best cleaners/paints to use?

Gunk is pretty good, but even the cheaper stuff is quite good, someone told me deisel is good, allthough never used it myself.

get your self a steam cleaner mate.... they work wonders!

Me an my mate hired one out, and cleaned all his engine up... Got rid off all the crap! looked good as new!

just go to your local hire shop, theyll sort you out
