Matt (j3ned) can do the nassasary work if you give him a box of Mr. Kiplings

Or alternatively supply you with the parts to do the F4R transplant yourself.

You will need front brakes, suspension, driveshafts, box, loom etc etc.

£1.5k + vat for the parts.
then £1.5k labour but j3ned doesn't do them as people moan about warenties etc.
You can do it yourself though if you have a week the 172 full fat kit and a good garage.

thought it was a relatively easy transplant?

suspension etc is piss easy, would only be the wiring i was worried about personally.

Mechanic is no problem. my father in law is one and owns his own garage. having said that he has had my 182 front bumper, skirts and rear bumper for 5 months and still not painted them!!!!! what parts do i need then?

  172 cup'd extreme
problems are:
getting your power steering working if you want it or changing the rack to hydro
ABS
air con if your billabong has it or if the transplant engine has aircon
getting key to work you need the renault clip
rest is fairly easy , best thing you can do is get a cup engine and work from there makes it much easier
