Engine Cover paint

im going to paint my engine cover if i did it in Hycote spray can would it be ok or will i need to get some specal heat paint

it will heat up and become very slightly tacky. so if it comes into contact with the bonnet sound-deadening it will get black fluff on it.

better to use 2k lacquer which you can also get in an aerosol form
