Thinking of getting one of these, what's people's thoughts.

Not a fan personally, would look better in black carbon fibre look or just a plain colour to match your car.

Waste of time IMO, unless you want it all to look pretty and lift your bonnet up at meets to show off I wouldn't waste your money.

Go onto "Clean Your Car" site they do lots of engine bay cleaning products or pop along to Halfords.

Asda do "Rapid dirt shifter" which is good for the monies

Nice... So you sprayed the inlet black.....

It was powder coated but it wasn't a great finish so I gave it a couple of coats of satin black and some primer.

Yeah wasn't too difficult to be honest. I did it in situ and just masked everyone up before spraying.

I'd polish up the dull stuff, or buy one that's been polished up, that bit looks great all nice & shiny.
