Engine cutting out vid. Any ideas?

The engine will turn over for a second then cut out straight away. Checked the ht leads, fuses battery. Was wondering if anyone had any ideas?

Immobiliser by the sound sof it.

Whats the red led doing on the dash?

I'll have a look. It happened after a drive. I came back home and stuck the car into reverse. Started to go backwards then it stalled. Fired it back up and I've had this fault ever since.

I havn't noticed any difference in any lights on the dash. What light should I be looking for and what should it be doing? If it is the immobiliser is there a way I can bypass it?

If it was at the start it would have been me da checking it was in neutral.

Yeah, what's the high pitch squeaky type noise?

(not you wiggling the gear stick)

Havn't got a clue mate. It sounds like there might be a little speaker or something. It's probably really obvious for someone who's had the same problem. Just hope they get a chance to see this

Need to get the car down to me dads and he's gonna get someone to come run a diagnostic from the ecu.
