Engine differences 172 ph1/2

Does anybody know if the PAS pump, alternator and starter motor are the same between the ph1 and ph2? What about the brackets? If they are different, which would be required for a cup race engine in an '02 172 chassis?

Sorry I am asking lots of dumb questions right now. It should all change when my car is up and running.

Yes they are all the same.

bar cylinder head on ph1 has slightly bigger exhaust ports which don't affect any fitting and I believe they take different upper inlet.

True, the actual internal differences are irrelevant right now, but nice to know all the same.
