Engine dynamics cams reviews

  TRACK CAR BREAKING
Firstly I have tried searching and only found one guy with them from Mexico but dosent seem to gives any reviews..

Firstly anyone else got then fitted?

What are they like? I no they won't reach the claimed 206 bhp lol

They are doing a deal for cams fitted and mapped for £750..
Which I don't think is to bad..

Any reviews people?

Supposedly they are good, I looked into gettig them when I had the 172.

Not a bad price for fully fitted. I contacted him through eBay and he said a discount would be given for a group buy, maybe something you could look into

I had some work done at ED a year or so back as they are 2mins drive from me. I have to say I wasn't that impressed - I had a K&N Induction kit at the time, which they managed to knock and it dropped down damaging the cone. I mean the Filter was a POS which I binned shortly after, but really put me off them. Shame as their customer service was great though, almost tempted to try them again...

Annoying as they are my super local 'Specialist'.

I've heard bad stuff about him as well! Aren't his 'Mark Fish springs' just another make with the branding removed?

I have been running these cams now for over a year, I have done +23,000km. The car is now @ 134,000km and still going stronger than ever.

When I bought these I tested the hardness of the lobes and had my doubts at first as it was some points lower vs OEM, but said... screw it and put them in, besides returning them from Mexico for a refund wasn't an option I liked. I can only see 1 lobe from the oil filler and at least that one still looks new (not a single mark, though I am very picky with the oil change intervals), and the engine has not developed any kind of noises, not a single one, not even the higher ticking I was told I may experience. The only downside is the tick over, which makes it look like carburator'd car, but that is expected with wilder profiles, and by the way these are as wild as the stock ecu could handle, same specs as shricks and colombo, for the price I think they are completely unbeatable, and after a year and enough kms to put them on test I think they are worth, not always cheap = bad as many said when they came out, time has proven that, at least to me as an user and not as someone speculating based on unsupported assumptions.

About power figures, My car makes 134 hp's @ the wheels, and that is 2,200 meters above sea level, add a 22% altitude loss plus the transmission loss to that and they are pretty decent, the number can we worked at +190hps, not the 206 they say in their site, but not bat at all.

There good cams, i've got them too, 100% not regrinds pretty sure JMS started that rumor a while back, but they are billet cams and for the price you cant go wrong, didn't have any trouble with engine dynamics at all andy seemed like a top bloke
