Engine lack of power issues

Right, just have had by gearbox replaced (don't ask ) and got the car back and when I accerate the car pulls then the power just dies but keeps reving and keeps the car moving (like the engine has been replaced with a 1.0L).

Thought it was the throttle body not opening all the way? So check that and it does open all the way, so not that?

Only other thing been told to check is if the Earth cables are not plugged in so when the engine revs and begins to moves it nudges the connection?

Any other ideas?

Earthing cable or a caught connection or a caught fuel pipe mine maybe.

cheers edde, was in fact my cold air feed had been squashed, so no air was getting to my viper, so no power.

Now taken it off and need a new cold air feed! Oh Joy!
