Engine management / glow plug light?

Hi all. I have a 51 plate 1.5 dci. The glow plug light sometimes comes on when I'm on the motorway. Usualy about 80mph ish. Car lacks power until I ease of then she's fine again.
Just done a bit of searching on here and looks like a common problem and possibly the EGR Valve (whatever / wherever it is )

Is it an easy DIY fix or is it a trip to the Renault dealers.

could be and all depends on how capable you are . if you take the engine cover of and then look at the back of the engine just above the turbo there is like a largish pipe bolted to engine (egr valve )with a plug goin into the back of it unplug that and take it for a drive see if its still does it .
