Top drivers side mount....has anyone done a guide on fitting one? I've seen the guide on how to adjust it but nothing else?

Cheers.

LOL!

As above mate.

Jack under engine (with block of wood)

Support engine.

Undo bolts.

Jack up engine.

Remove mount, replace.

Reverse procedure.

  S3, Polo
Undertray off.
Support sump on a block of wood (with a trolley jack underneath it!).
Jack up slightly to relieve weight on mount.
Mark on chassis where mount is located.
Undo mount to chassis bolts.
Undo central bolt.
Jack up to make removal of mount easier.
Replace mount and reverse above procedure.

From memory, I think that's all thats involved. Don't know if the procedure is made more difficult by having A/C because I have a Cup?

EDIT - Seems I'm late to the 'obvious' party... :)

If your careful you can do it without undoing the undertray, the lifting plate on the trolley jack will fit easily through the sump plug acess hole on the under tray... i've always left mine in place.

^^ Its only 4 extra 10mm bolts lol Far better to take it off and use a bit of wood between the jack and the sump. Everyone has there own way of doing things suppose

Yeh I thought it looked fairly straight forward. Cheers lads.

The bolts feel like they're crossthreading and going to snap when you put them back in, that's normal. Well mine did using an airgun anyway.
