Engine mount problems?

When i start my car the engine seems to rock on it's mounts more than it should and when i set off for the 1st time it knocks once but then doesn't do it again. I have had the car on a ramp and all the mounts look ok and you can't rock the engine with your hands. Is there a known problem with the mounts or is this normal?
The car is a 54 plate 182 with 60000 miles on the clock.

if you got the car up on ramps (ie ramps at home), you will probably have the weight of the engine and exhaust all squised tight, take it off the ramps and pull it back and forth. probably just the exhaust banging around
