Engine oil/spark plugs - 172 cup 53reg

Can anyone recommend some good engine oil and spark plugs for a 172 cup 53reg.

Also, should i use a fully synthetic oil in it or semi?

5w40 full synth of the oil. Standard NGKs for the plugs, can't remember the exact model do a search these have been posted a million times.
