Engine replacement

Hi.

My friend has just had an engine replaced with a reconditioned one in her clio 1.2 and she has been told not to drive it home 300miles for Christmas.

She needs to run her engine in but shorely she will be ok if she doesn't push it too hard so stay under 70mph.

Can anyone give me any advise?

Apparently it doesn't have a rev limeter!! so glad I don't have a 1.2!

no one in my office even knew what red lining was. You would never know they weren't into their cars!

I asked for car shampoo for Christmas...they found that highly amusing!
