Hi,
I am having serious problems with my Clio, firstly the last few weeks it was been taking sometime nearly half an hour of trying, then it suddenly fires up.
Now the other day I was driving on the motorway home from work and the engine literally just died, pulled onto the hard shoulder tried to start it and no sound what so ever. I've now had it towed hope, I tried it again this morning, there is sound from the starter motor and a very sluggish muffled sound of the pistons going up and down once or twice but that is it, no engine trying to start sound, the mechanic who picked me up said it sounds like it has lost all its compression and it would be a really simple job or a really big job (new engine)
If anyone could help or give me any pointers I would be ever so grateful as I love my Clio (bar all the problems it gives me)
