I have a T reg mk2 clio 1.6RN auto, when I was on my way back home tonight, the engine stopped while I was making a turn, I noticed that my streering wheel was gone very hard, then I realised the engine is off, then I pulled over and try to restart the engine again, but once the engine started it cut off straight away, but the second time I start the engine is fine till now, does anyone knows why does this happen? and how do I fix it?

PS: Thank god that there werent many cars around me and it's nearly 10 o'clock, otherwise........
