engine swap insurance

hi all

im wanting to put a 2.0 16v in ma meg (1.6 8v), just wondering who you gujys use for insurance when swapping engines?

BNest shop round realy.

Adrain flux have a few companies and green light can cover I think.

how would you go about declaring it to the dvla etc?

Adrian Flux were the cheapest by far for me to insure my hybrid!

i think to tell the DVLA you need to send off the V5 as the ris a bit for stating changes to the car like cylinder capacity and colour etc.

i think once your detaisl have been altered on the DVLA data base then any insurer should be able to cover you

no probs it would get an sva test anyways to be on the safe side
