I have a 1.2 16v clio and the engine is on its last legs. Cant really afford a sport yet and cant justify getting a loan when I work away and the car will be used rarely rather save. But I do fancy putting a 1.6 16v engine in, I would be declaring it with insurance and on the log book so dont want all the hate preachers whining on about it nor do I want the 'save and buy a sport' line cause thats what im doing however as I say I hasnt got the life left in it anymore.
What I need to know is other than the engine, ecu engine loom gearbox is there anything else different? Are all drive shafts etc the same length? Or would I need all that aswell?
