engine transplant

howdy

can anyone tell me how much i should pay for a good williams engine?? Im thinking of putting one of these into my valver, still a bit unsure though.....is there any major problems with this kind of transplant?? What else will I need to change?? A bit of a long question but any help will be muuuuuuch appreciated

look hard......i wouldnt pay more than 400 for a complete unit.

and milage.....since it is out id replace bearing shells and rings at the time just for good measure....dont want to have to take it out again of something goes wrong with them.

Why not go for an early Megane 2.0 Coupe bottom end? That engine is also the 2.0 F7R unit and the bottom end is almost identical to the Williams one.

You can slap it straight in and use the 16V head no problems. It will also be more common and cheaper at scrappies than the Willy engine (only 1200 UK Williams).

whatever you decide, it is a well quality transplant. the performance is awesome!!!

trust me i am well impressed! and guys i cant wait to get a day off work to meet you all!

p.s. what is soo good about this GTT transplant???

200+ BHP from the GTT transplant, ;)

and the noise of turbo boosting up, front mount i/c on display, and its a little

different, but its horses for courses, depends what floats you boat

my main problem is the insurance companies, they seem to hate me for some reason  They really dont want me to change the engine *lol*

nah gave up afta the fifth! lol

i was talkin to my m8 and aqppreantly liverpool victoria changed there policy few months ago about there mods etc...

might call up a few more in the back of maxpower see wot i can find!
