Megane R26
Wednesday saw me near Redditch to give some love to this lovely RenaultSport Clio 200 Cup, in the stunning Storm Grey colour!
The car itself was a few weeks old, but the 'dealer prep' left a lot to be desired and the car was already quite swirly, and covered in industrial fallout and tar spots.
Here are a few befores:

First up, as ever, the wheels.
So, take one dirty Speedline:

They aren't too bad, so I used Autosmart Smart Wheels at 4:1:

A liberal covering on the wheel face and rear:

G101 and Envy brush on the tyres:

Then rinse.....

Vikan Brush and G101 on the arches....

Next up, I turned my attention to the bodywork. I began by giving the entire car a coating of ValetPRO pH Neutral Snow Foam, via a CYC HD Lance and Nilfisk C110:

I began working my way around the car with G101 and a different Envy brush, cleaning shuts, silly, grilles, petrol cover, etc.
The car was then washed with Dodo BTBM and CYC Mitt, then rinsed to give us...

Next up, with the car still wet, I began the claying process to remove the fallout and tar. I used CYC PolyClay and Reglaze as lube:

Quite a lot for a car so new.... so much for dealer prep! Shocking.
The car was then rewashed to remove the lube residue, and dried using an Elite Uber Drying Towel:

Then, it was time to asses the paintwork for swirls and experiment with polish/pad combos to get the desired results.
A few 'swirl shots'

The paint averaged a good 190 or so consistently over the car:

After playing with a few combinations, I settled on 3M Extra Fine Compound and a Megs Polishing Pad.
Here are a few pics after polishing, but with no LSP present:

- Polished Exhaust trim with Optimum Metal Polish
- Tyres with Pinnacle Onyx
- Shuts with Jeffs Jett Trigger
- Windscreen with 3M Glass Cleaner
