ESP/dimmer switch panel extra wires/plugs

Car  BMW M135i; Clio 172
Behind this panel on my 2003 172, there are 2 unused plugs, one is for cruise/limiter switch, but I can’t find any info on the other?

I’ve been thinking of retrofitting cruise, but came across this additional plug whilst messing about. In the pic the white one on the left is cruise/limiter switch, so what’s the black one on the right all about?

Thanks .

Ahh, like for non-xenon cars?

Disappointing, I was hoping it was for an ejector seat or summat good :smile:

If the cruise plug is there does that mean it’s any easy retro fit?

I think a cruise compatible squib is required and steering wheel buttons, and a replacement esp/dimmer panel with a switch for the cruise/limiter.

I ‘shorted’ the wires in the plug behind the panel to get the cruise and limiter symbols to illuminate on the dash, and with ‘SET’ showing in the display.
