it'd look good. nightmare unless someone proper does it.

i had my old dynamique front moulding smoothed in and that looked good imo

polos just come off, it doesnt take anywork and is a DIY job, i was quoted 2k to have the ones on the clio done, i have photoshops at home ill post

no i mean on clubpolo they leave the bump strip on and smooth it on...

but i know the polo can just be taken off easily

I took the side strips off mine while I cleaned it the other day, apart from the mounting slots, it would look better without the side strips. It's not like they are placed to actually stop you from getting car park dints anyway. £2k to smooth them though is madness!

I've seen a few valvers with smoothed out rub strips, never seen it on a mk2 clio though.

Talking of smoothing, I remember years ago when people would smooth out the numberplate recess on their boot - then shove the number plate back exactly where it was :S

you can say that again..thats mental. you could get a full car respray for that:eek:

i too was quoted around 2k for a virtually full respray with the side strips removed, front was already done, and then to have the handles removed and solenoids sorted. not worth it unless your gonna keep the car for some time.

i decided it was pointless, and im so glad i did now, i had the pront semi smoothed and it was mint, but even that started to sag over time
