Excel Help needed

LOL having a brain dead moment and can't remember how to do the following.

Eg in cell A1 I have the figure 651 I want to fill down to A100 so it adds 1 each time so eg A2 will be 652 A3 653 and so on.

Doesn't it add one automatically if you drag the bottom right corner of the first cell?

In cell A2 type "=A1+1" and press enter.

Then click on bottom right corner of cell A2 and drag down and this formula will continue down so that each number is one higher than the one above it.

Type 651 into A1 and 652 into A2. Highlight both and click and drag the small square at the bottom right of the cells.

Type 651 in the first cell, then right click and drag down the box at the bottom right had corner and then select fill automatically or something like that..
