Exhaust Db

Does anybody have any idea what sort of Db i could expect from a 182 with decatted scorpion RS192 system? Hoping to do bedford soon, but has a limit of 100, and although far from precise, the Db meter app on the iphone (its suppose to be pretty accurate) clocked 105Db at 1 meter 4000rpm. I think im right in saying the decatted yozza is the loudest available and very popular, so if that is less than 100 im ok

decatted yozz is sub 98db, and it isn't the loudest

Cheers fred, I assume the "group n" exhausts are the loudest then? Any idea where i can get the Db checked?

group A should be the loudest, you're sort of wasting your time getting it checked as it will be different on the meter everyday, barrometric pressure, which way the wind blows, temperature etc all affect DB readings

Well thats poop, didn't particularly want to waste money booking a track day and drive 3 hours to be told i can only watch. Hmm, decisions.

RS192 without a decat is very very quiet. Only minimally louder than standard. I cant see it failing a 100db test with a decat. Especially if a Yozza is sub 98db with a decat!
