Exhaust head ache :-(

Car  182 FF Arctic
i'll start by saying im losing the will to live now i bought a miltek cat back for my 182 which i wasn't happy with at all it never fit right from day 1 for example when it got hot after a bit hard driving it grew & went off centre to the cut out's so i bought a ktr janspeed & its exactly the same i have been messing with for the best part of 2 weeks or so now i've put new hangers on tried sockets, cable ties you name it ive done it its perfect when its cold but i know metal expands when hot. i'm even thinking of going back to std exhaust now as that never did it.

anyone else had this problem with aftermarket systems?

(exept yozza which i know are perfect but hard to get hold of)

Hi mate,

My ktec one was wonky as fook when first fitted. However, after I had a decat made up, it sits perfect now. So I am guessing the decat could be a different length to the cat? I don't know if this helps at all!

Not sure mate its not the length thats the problem its what it does when hot it seems to move over to the drivers side cut out more & not far from the plastic trim can't get my head around it at all

Have a word with ktec mate, they seem like a decent bunch. They were really helpful when I got mine, they might be able to suggest something?
