Exhaust heat shield washers

My main heat shield above the rear box IS rattling about as the shield has pulled over the existing bolts/washers.
I read a fix somewhere of putting oversize washers on but can't find it.
Anyone know the washer size and Maybe a link

The washer size depends on how big the hole is on your heat shield

​Just get a washer that covers the hole so it's nice and tight

You won't go wrong with M8 short bolt & nut with large washers.

May as well take the heat shield off then. Stainless systems through out very little heat compared with mild steel.

The heat shield that is important is the one protecting the gear linkage.

Get some rubber washers underneath the pennie washers too to dampen any vibrations/resonance it'll help prevent the washers cracking the heat shield again.
