exhaust mount - 172 ph2

Hello

I recently had to replace the back box to my exhaust and the guys that fitted the new exhaust which is just a standard exhaust, replaced the exhaust mount as the one on the car had never been changed and had frayed causing the exhaust to drop down slightly.

I don’t know if it’s the bad weather or the fact it as a cheap exhaust mount? but the rubber within the mount has frayed again and so the exhaust is hanging down slightly. Has anyone had this issue before or could anyone suggest a good exhaust mount which would have stronger rubber mount?

they are known for being useless mate. there are a few threads on here about people that have re-inforced the web with sockets or small sections of copper pipe etc.

there should be some info in the guides section iirc

we'll have a new mount developed very soon which will be a lot stronger..
