exhaust rattle

Hey all,
why does the exhaust rattle at 4000 revs??? i know a few people have had this issue, is there any way of sorting this problem out?? sounds like it comes from around the gearbox area. thanks in advance

mine rattles between 3000 and 4000 rpm dont where it comes from or how to stop it

its a faulty heatshield on the manifold. new heatshield im afraid guys.

If u take it to your local stealers they'll know exactly what ur on about, as its a very common problem.

Most likely your heatshield or your centre section has gone kaput. Very common problem unfortunately.

do a search. This has come up hundreds of times before - bery common on Mk2 clios I believe.
