Exhaust v band question

So I bought a cat back Ktec ultra performance supersport exhaust second hand last week and just wanted to get some advice before I start anything. The stock centre to cat section (1st pic below) seems to be v banded?

The Ktec section is just sleeved over so would I be right in thinking I can get the exhaust on at the moment!?

Frustrating as I’ve been so keen to get the exhaust sorted for AGES!!!!

Stock is vband, but the vbands are s**t and leak - get your cat welded with a sleeve on, prob solved

Cheers mate! Think I’ll just buy a decat section atm and get the cat welded once off!

It's not a V-band like you'd normally see, it's like a really s**t/sloppy version.

K-tech also sell a catalyst sleeve kit, which if probs what is needed.

Not a v band as standard, it's an olive joint.
