anyone ever used this stuff

im gonna order some pretty soon to do my turbo pipe with, and hopefully later my exhaust manifold, is it easy to use ?

exactly how do you use it, do you just wrap it around and jubilee it on ?

yeah just wrap but dont leave any gaps at all !!!!!!

i wish id done my manifold while it was off the car now. may do it when the engine is out to have the box fitted actually.

i wouldnt use it on a turbo engine mate, it keeps the heat in making for very high temps which could crack your manifold!!!

lol use it on the turbo downpipe its fine, and its also ok to use it on the exhaust manifold, cuts the gtt engine bay temp down by loads, if u want to do it propper you should wrap the exhaust mani, turbo downpipe, and the rest of the exhaust system back to the back box, i have mine wrapped to the centre section silencer... much cooler, smokes like f**k when you do it and it also does give you a few small cuts... you can get special metal zip ties... but they are expensive, so jewblee clips will do... you can also get litte heat jackets to fit over the turbo, and might be worth getting the little heat jackets for the startermotor, if you put the jacket on the starter motor, and also on the downpipe, you shouldnt get any heat damage on the motor that way... i got mine form castle coombe race way they have a parts shop right in the paddock and you can walk in and buy it, they sell all the extra jackets also, and were much cheaper than DT and rally designes...
