exhaust ? ?

  Clio 197
Personally I wouldn't , go with a reputable brand (ktec etc)

I have just fitted a ktec supersport to mine it was a doddle

lol yeah for 190 ish new aint too bad , evan if it lasts a year, the exhaust on my car atm is only 3months old, but im fed up not hearing the engine over the exhaust :( i dont want something too too loud but loud enough to give a nice purr with a nice sound to go with a bit of a heavy foot, but didnt want spend out on a exhaust for it to sound pants, but as it aint evan a make i dont think it could either sound nice or sound soo bad id prefer my standard over it lol

There are places who will build an exhaust to your specific requirements...so you can get it how you want it. Mine is subtle when driving normally, but sounds beautiful when booting it. It doesn't intrude badly at 70mph on motorway either...which is something I requested.

Rip off of the scorpion imola as said but the tail pipes are different in their design. Wouldnt fit this to be honest, either get the genuine scorpion one or if money is tight, get one of the sportex ones they are only a little bit more expensive but it will be bit loud

ahh sweet where can i find the sportex ones to buy? cheers, maybe il should try save a bit more then go for the rs192 or something like that as heard they are good ?

scott i would go for a yozza but hard to come buy and seem very expensive although ive only heard good things about :) but cant stretch my money that wide unless one goes for cheap 2nd hand ;) anyone ? haha

If you are desperate for an exhaust get the sportex if not then save up to get either the yozza, btb or supersprint if you get a miltek or scorpion/rs192 then chances are they will split somewhere and if you do decide to go for one of them make sure its not second hand (no warrenty). By the way i dont think the sportex is very loud on the 182.

yeah just found the sportex on ebay for 259 which seems reasonable, being in a tight budget i would go for a decent one but il go for one early next year some time, anyone got any videos off a sportex on a 182 ? thanks adam

Wouldnt do this. Id get a different make instead, my scorpion has got two splits in the centre section that need welding up :( so the build quality on them is questionable

Which one did you buy mate, imola or RS192? I've not had any problems other than the obligatory wonky mounts

RS192 - It was on my car when i bought so I've got no warranty. It sounds nice and not too loud but i've got a split in the centre i have to get welded now (really they should last longer than a few years IMO). I had a Peugeot sport group N exhaust on my 106 gti and that was made by scorpion - again sounded great but fell apart after a few years.

From what I have read on many forums over many years, I would recommend going to a recommended custom manufacturer that use TIG welding and get one made.
It should then be perfectly made, fitted and sound exactly how you want it.
It also means that if it is not, you know exactly who has made it and who to go to if it is poor fitting or sounds nothing like you wanted it to.

Disagree with the above. I prefer to buy from a manufacturer who have put time into R&D and tried their systems on the cars to get the desired results in terms of sound and performance. I just wouldn't buy scorpion because IMO the build quality isn't up to scratch.

+1 never heard anything great about custom places, especially not cheap nasty powerflow

I was thinking more of Charlie at ProSpeed, JP Exhausts (who make the Yozza), Hayward & Scott etc, not Powerflow! Hence the reference to getting a recommendation before using one.

thanks people on the advice, would ideally like a yozzza but to much ££ atm as im on a budget, sportex looks nice as from what i can see but cant find any videos off the sound, im gunna try speaking to get one made to what i want it to do if i can, may have to bite the bullet and wait a lil longer to get it and save a lil more to get one that sounds abit more better :)

Keep your eye out in the forsale and wanted section,eBay and wherever else you fancy looking you can get a 2nd hand system for a much cheaper and still be in perfect condition no cracks etc saving you lots of money and if it does crack you can always pay a small fee to have it welded

yeah been keeping an eye out in the forsale section and ebay but aint come across a yozza yet lol :(
didnt wana go for the sportex in the end as i was speaking to a guy the other day which he had one on hes and said it was that loud, i dont want it to loud but not to quiete either :rasp: miltek ive heard are abit louder then sportex so maybe a miltek il go for then, although also heard they crack alot :quiet:
