im assuming that the front exhaust means it replaces the cat e.g its a de-cat?

will it pop with this on?

Yes the 872702 is to replace your cat with a straight through section.

with the backbox combined can i assume this will pop?

what kind of noise does it have as well?

There will only be a slight increase in noise with this system. First of all its mild steel and in my vast experience with Supersprint this will hold noise levels down to a minimum and the rear silencer is very silenced. You'll get a deeper tone. No rasp and no popping on liftoff so to speak.
