right im replacing the tie rods on my ph1 and the renault garage has sent the wrong ones,they said there was a few options but they went for the trw arms,well turns outthey are wrongas the thread sise where it screws into the rack are far too big on the new one,and my originals have finer thread too

well the renault garage wanted me to get a make off the rack but iv been under the car on the ramps and i cant find anymake at all!

is there a cirtain type that my 172 will have?

thanks in advance guys coz i need this sorted today as my car is on a ramp and my bosses need that ramp

first things first, ditch renaults service desk and go to motorserv if you have one round your neck of the woods? always more than happy to help and normally have the diagrams in the book to go by, or they will get the product of the shelf and match like for like if you take the old with you.

There will be a stick on the rack somewhere usually along the bottom edge of it in the middle.

They're usually SMI racks though.
