Hi

Just bought myself a 172 cup in silver yesterday and love it.

The renault dealer tried to sell me a exterior and interior cleaning pack for £250. According to him, it would preserve the look of the car and protect the paintwork etc. There was also stuff in the pack for keeping the upholstery and dash in good nick.

Anyway, it seemed a bit steep for me and I was wondering if anyone had some advice on how to get the same results without paying thru the nose?

Meguirs: Not cheap but BLOODY good, i use their alloy wheel cleaner, tyre spray, ntx wax, meguirs soap suds and trim detailer for the black plastic bits. For the Chrome exhaust I use meguirs metal polish. My car is 6 years old and has done 75k, and look how good meguirs get it up.
