Extrene Interior nightmare.......

  Clio MK2 (1.2)
Right to you lot who got the Extreme interior (greenish interior)

how the hell do you get rid of the stains on the seat??

Iv tried: Baby wipes, Soap with warm water, Supaguard, interior stuff from Halfords, (made it worse)

it looks disgusting when ppl come in the car, but its ther fault for loosing drinks etc on them

Let us no plzz

  Audi TT 3.2 V6
halfords and wixes both have steam cleaners for sale for £40 ish, buy it, use it, return it :D

  Clio MK2 (1.2)
haha, if i buy 1 and it doesnt work iv just spent money on a steam cleaner thats gona sit in the shd for about 10 years.. so i need really proof that it works :)

  Clio MK2 (1.2)
have you seen the valeting places around here ? theres none. to clean your car u either take it to a garage car wash, and you have to do the rest yourself, there was 1, but it got shut down cz the owners ov the car park complained, so i have to do it myself ...

try the cheapest options first then, and see what happens. you might just have to bite the bullet in the end, but at least if you start with the cheaper options, if it works, it hasn't cost you much.

dont wana buy new seats tbh, iv i could find a way to clean these then it would be better, cz i love these seats their nice and comfy and look good .. il have to search on google :(

I've tried a steam cleaner on mine and it didn't make much difference. Also tried lots of products like you. The best thing is the VAX carpet cleaners my friend has one and I used it on all my car the seats, carpets, roof lining etc and at the end when you empty out the water the dirt that comes out is unreal.
They can be bought for about £90 and it's a good investment try asking about if any of your mates have one though.

or as geordie said use vanish, i got a luke warm bowl of water and put some vanish in it, ring the cloth completely out and work on the seats

The one my friend has is the one of the Vax site that you get the free 6 bottles with. Not sure how much it is on there but you have to shop about my friend paid under £100.
I tried one of the things like in the link Craig gave and the brush on the end seemed to fray my seats.
The important thing with my cleaning products on seats and carpets is actually using a hoover to suck the dirt out once cleaned. Basically with the Vax you squirt on some solution out the nozzle then it sucks it all out the seats.

@ Craig.. Thats the 1 i used but it was a green bottle, made it worse tbh and haventused it since then,

@ Tidy Clio, tbh i aint buying a hoover :( i appreciate the link but im gona have to try the Vanish 1 as its the only 1 i can do,

Will have to try it tommorow as the weather as usual is raining..

am having the same problem with mines, soo hard to keep clean, and they look awful when there dirty. :( i bought 2 seat clovers for wen am in my work clothes etc

  "Navy" N17 TWO
Warm water & meguiars APC - give them a good rub with an old cloth then hoover them.

To dry them I usualy put the heat on and blast warm air into the car for 15mins. Drying them naturaly sometimes leaves watermarks - not pretty.

Also - good idea to stick an air freshener over your vent when the heat is on - leaeves the whole car smelling clean by the time the seats are dry :star:

  Clio MK2 (1.2)
@ 2FSTU - since when does morrisons do them ? in our dont think iv ever seen 1 there, as ours is just rubish tbh

thats why i bought a car with black/grey interior! coloured interior's are nothign but problem and i find they look a bit poofy...in my opinion

  Clio 182 (Black Beauty)
ring a industrial upholstery cleaner. seats at end of day, whether there in a car or house

  Clio MK2 (1.2)
how the feck are they a bit poofy ?? its like u buy a Merc with Cream leather seats (standard) you gona call them poofy 2 ?

@ Cliodamo : the seats are clean now after i used what Clio Craig posted up worked a treat, need to do them again this weekend :( more stains

  t3 corolla 116bhp
i used a turtle wax foam spray and brush which i got at halfrauds for less than £10.

used it on my interior roof upholstery to take off the previous owners tobacco stains- which were near welded on.

took it all off no bother, well worth it!!

  Mondeo ST220
i used simoniz upholstery cleaner with an attached brush, and a hell of alot of elbow greece! worked well though.

got it from halfords, was quite cheap too iirc
