F7P Turbo in a mk2ph2?

Hi guys - Currently building the engine as we speak, gonna turbo it ect ect, just wondering, will it fit into my mk2ph2? i know it will standard but even with the turbo on the back, will there be enough room, If anyone can tell me what mounts i will need also will be very helpful

I have been searching all last night, some of this morning and most of last night and cant find one, nice to be different, shal be a beast

im putting a f7r in my mark 2 so when its done ill get a pic, tbh i think the turbo is going to be extremly close to the back of engine bay might have to cut stuff away,

Other then that the engine will drop straight in on all the mounts, you need the top mount of of the f7r the dogbone/gearbox mount off of a williams/valver or a ph1s 172.

For the other mount you might have to drill in the subframe im till to discour this.

What gearbox will you use im using a r5 gtt

Cheers mate, either that or the phase 1 172 box as thats the strongest in the range iirc, its a fact renault boxes are like chocolate , let me know how you get on, just sent you a PM

try it, I reckon it'll fit. The worst that'll happen is you'll need a custom mani and downpipe. The engine bays are surprisingly similar.

once ive got my engine in over this month ill be able to tell him if it will fit with a turbo, his engine wont be ready for a while so its all good. I think it will fit and if it doesnt it will just be some modifiying to make it fit.

from what iv seen i doubt the engine will fit with a turbo on the back, if it was in the front then its a whole diff story imo

Hmm, i got a sneaky little plan for the manifold, but not gonna reveal till the engines built, im hoping it will fit, even if i have to customize the back of the bay, but like Olly said, the bays are basically the same.
