What. What in the fcuk.

Today I had to underwrite an Audi TT. 3.2 manual with 55k on an 04 plate. (Not the same as yours steve granted.)

But the car booked at 6000 ish.

I've just looked on pistonheads and they're going for about 9-10k!!! Who the funk would pay 9-10k for one???

6k gets a low mileage earlier 225. Reckon he paid 6.5 - 7k for it.

Under it's px value sorry. I paid no where near £9k lol but I will try and sell it for that.

Also dan down there road from me there is an 02 plate 225 TT on 68k for £8k lol

I like the colour. But if I didn't I'd be calling my father a chump...

Clean it, photo it, sell it for the 1-1.5 you'll make and stop driving around with gloves and a scarf on, with a sock down your pants. X

Oh, and whoever said 6k for a 225 with low miles - what's your idea of low miles, 90k??

I prefer that leather to the black ones.

Do like these. Used to hate 'em when my mum had one, but now I like them.

Dolomite grey and Red leather > All.

I love the TT's but was a s**t drive for what I was looking for.

The general conensus was the V6 wasn't worth the extra over the 225 said the fuel comsumption was also terrible compared with the 225.

It looks far better though.

It's averaging 28.1 mpg. My 225 averaged 30.8 mpg. So not far off!

That's good mate, I know the remap's were improving mpg in the 225. Not sure how genuine that claim is.

Any plans for it sweetie?

Oh and the V6 pwns the 225 on looks.

Depends on the remap but general concensus is you get better MPG from a remapped 1.8t, but only if you drive conservatively.

The chains can stretch but it is rare.

Bit like the E36 Vanos hype etc...

He said he paid £1500 under trade? :S

Dan I was at Brighouse BCA about 6 months ago I saw two go through for over 9k+. Prices have dropped a bit since then. TTs seem to fetch more than book when in a desirable spec and low mileage. I had two TTs and had no issues shifting either of them... gone in a matter of days.

Mine is mapped, and made a massive difference in both torque and MPG.

I prefer the looks of the V6, love the spoilers.

This thing seems to be way under geared. Could almost use a 7th cog.
