Also, can you make the different types of ammo? I've ended up buying some from Gun Runners, but I wondered if you can make the different types also?

You can make them at a Reloading bench you just need the right items to create them

Just got the Ratslayer unique weapon in Broc Flower Cave. It's bloody good! It's a Varmint rifle fully modded with scope, silencer and night vision. Awesome for long range manual pop shots. I got out of the cave and took down two Bighorn's both with one shot from miles away.

Excellent weapon.

Corrupt save file bit me in the arse yesterday, really can't be bothered starting again, going to trade it in for Fable 3.

Good game, just gets really tedious going through a door and then staring at a loading screen for 15 minutes.

I don't get all this loading screen stuff. Mine lasts around 10 seconds at the most, and sometimes 4 or 5 seconds.

Just got the Ratslayer unique weapon in Broc Flower Cave. It's bloody good! It's a Varmint rifle fully modded with scope, silencer and night vision. Awesome for long range manual pop shots. I got out of the cave and took down two Bighorn's both with one shot from miles away.

Were is this located Scutch? i havnt got the Broc Flower Cave on my map, so will need some easy directions,

Once in the cave, venture down and then head right. Keep heading right (clockwise) and you'll enter a small hideaway. The gun is on the floor near a desk. Beware in this cave, as there are a lot of huge rats and it's also radioactive!

Im at Helios One getting the broken solar panels and after collecting them i go back in and i get attack by these robot's, im like wtf, get killed straight away, but when i go back outside towards the Ncr guys they do nothing to me :s,

You just need a few pulse grenades. They work superbly against any robots.

I was pissed last night playing this so have ballsed up the Benny bit. He's fucked off now so I spoke to Yes Man and then Mr House and opened up the Wild Card stuff.

Question is, can I still kill Benny, get the chip, disable House and install Yes Man?

Only ever lost 2 games.

Using Ringo's deck, choose 31 cards from that deck, consisting of 7's, 9's and 10's. Any other cards you choose are going to be discarded anyway. The aim is to get to 26 (and 7+9+10 = 26).

Basically yes.

Put three 7's down. Then 9's on top of those. Then 10's. If the game hasn't ended by that point, put a face card down on one of your opponents 26's. They'll bust, you'll take the winnings.

Wish I knew how to play blackjack and all that but I've no clue.

I've still not got enough cards to play caravan yet either.

I've finished the main storyline though, level 21 about 31 hours in, I sided with the NCR, got most of the other factions on my side too. I've donned the NCR Ranger armour and helmet, best armour on the game for sure.

I'm just doing as many sidequests as I can till I get bored now, probably gain a few more levels and then stop playing until an expansion comes out.

Oh, I use Veronica with a Powerfist and shes donned in power armour, also got ED-E.

Also, I discovered last night that if you kill a few NCR troops, boone leaves you He went sick and killed loads of NCR guys then started raping all of the securitrns on the Vegas strip. Way to go knobed.

I swiftly loaded the game though.

You need to give Boone a decent weapon. Ideally, more than 30DAM. Pass him the appropriate ammo to match, and you're away.

I take it you've not followed the NCR quests? You have to deal with the Omertas in the main NCR quests.

You can either side with the bosses, or take them out and replace them with a decent chap. I did the latter, since that was the good karma thing to do.

Not ran into the NCR yet, i've just been pissing about scavenging, and doing various random side quests. - I have hardly touched the main quests. All I have done is install yes man into the lucky 38 mainframe. I need to get a better rep with the NCR though ideally. Do I get their quests at their HQ? If so where is it?

I shall be looking to spend my 80k tonight, then make it back again.

I really want the Gobi Sniper Rifle. I know where to get it, too, but I don't have a lockpick skill high enough to get into the locker at Sniper's Point (100 Very Hard). Think my Lockpick is currently 70. So I have a few skill books which will bump it to 90 (Comprehension Perk) but then I'm still 10 short. Meh.

The Varmint Rifle is good squishy, though.

Has anyone got "Pushy", yet? The unique Unarmed weapon? It can apparently take down any enemy in 1 hit - excluding Deathclaws which are still 2 or more. I think you need an Unarmed skill of 100 to use it, though. That's me f*cked. I think mine is about 15. LOL.

Once you've killed Benny in the TOPS (which I suggest you do. Tool up though!) and walk outside afterwards, an NCR runner gives you a message to meet with the NCR Ambassador.

About killing Benny: Sneak a silenced .22 and some concealed melee weapon, then take out Benny first, get Maria (his 9mm) and take out the rest of his goons.

Way easier than letting him be captured by Caesar.
