still coming round tonight JDM
bent gay.
Looks like a dodgy, bugged up version to me.
LOL. IIRC the bugged up version is the final release, anyway. Bethesda are good like that.
Patch ahoy!
Steam is such a C*NT, I've got mine but it won't let me install it.
try independent shops.I'd pick this up on the way home if any fcuker actually sold it!

My mates shop got theirs in at 0940
Exactly this. I never played these sort of games either until Oblivion which was awesome. Really felt like you were in King Arthur type times with the Knights and stuff. F3 just changed the time but with similar objectives. From what I've watched of FNV this is just another extension of that which I cannot see will fail, for me at least. I wish they would give a date for the new Oblivion.Took me a while to get into oblivion tbh and that was my first experience of this type of game, but since that and FO3 I love it.
Its the game type more than anything I guess.
Some people need instant and expolsive stimulation or a more linear style.

I agree in a lot of ways. I used to think it was a shame that people didn't put more time into games like this to fully appreciate them. But time is normally the issue - what with job/family/social interests - not many people are able (or wanting) to commit their precious time to a game. A lot of people have the '30 mins blast' attitude while the missus is watching Corry or something. Games like Oblivion and Fallout would be just painful to play like that.

Got a mediocre review from Gamespot (7.5/10) stating glaring technical problems with the game. (remember they were the website who properly tested F1 2010 before reviewing it!)
Bethesda have contacted Gamespot and a couple of other media reviews to say there is a patch on the view to hopefully rectify any bugs. One reviewer has pulled their review on the game for the time being.
You want to try Oblivion then. It's old now but graphically and physically very similar to Fallout. Plus you get a horse to ride. I spent a lot of time playing it and would start it again iif I had the time.Fallout3 was my first RPG and im hooked
