Bethesda didnt do this release??? Or isnt that what you were saying?

Bethesda are and always have been the Publishers. It's the developers that have changed this year.

Steam is such a C*NT, I've got mine but it won't let me install it.

Same here lol, theres a workaround though by connecting to steam through a proxy, I managed to get an hour in before work.

Picking mine up at lunch time, with the guide. Won't be using it early on, mind. Good reading for the toilet, I bet.

lmao, me too, on the way out I decided to take a little nosey, noticed it wasn't showing up red like when you steal something so I just helped myself to a few stimpaks and the like.

So far I've not experienced any bugs, I've got the patched PC version though.

lol I took everything I could, I figured if I get too heavy later on I'll just ditch it. I emptied out the book cases, fridge, stimpaks, cameras and all kinds of sh* t to sell.

No Bad Karma = Free for all, lol.

I've taken everything from Docs house as well.

Played it for couple of hours now and first impressions are good. Can already see how your actions will close some doors and open others.

Apparently even if two people do the exact same things in their respective games, the outcomes and paths they take will be different. LOL! No idea how the f*ck that works. Must have been a lot of work put into this.

Well I think each encounter, there is random probability of certain things happening. For example different spawns of different enemies, different weapons you pick up....potentially different dialogue options (although I doubt it) stuff like that I think, nothing too game changing.

Re: Fallout : New Vegas - Released 22/10/2010

Is there karma in this game?

I always found FO3 really hard to try to be good! Stealing and killed randoms ftw ;)

I THINK it's reputation rather than karma now...meant to be less black/white.

I've just picked mine up from Gamestation with the hardback Guide and Mercenary Pack.

£22 in total.

I did have to trade 6 f*cking games in, mind. Meh. Don't play them anyway.

I traded in COD MW, COD WaW, Batman Arkham Asylum, Heavy Rain and God of War 3. Got £38 or so for the lot. F*cking farce, TBH, but as I say, I don't play them anymore, anyway.

Probably depends on if you have the ability to pick the lock, hack the computer, pass the speech challenges etc so I can see how that can happen.

Re: Fallout : New Vegas - Released 22/10/2010

my PC seems to be struggling with it, which tbh is surprising.

What specs are PC people on?

It must be the GPU that's struggling, but its a 768MB 8800GTX so I'm surprised. Granted its no spring chicken but I wouldn't describe it as long in the tooth.

The other issue is the fact that I can't run?? ( I'm not overloaded! But pressing left shift just seems to bring me to a slow than actually making me run )

That's a b*****d. I have prime. Ordered today, delivered tomorrow. Win.

I'm about eight hours in now, taking on one or two side quests. Not far away from Novac - still a looooooong way from New Vegas.

Seems a patch is very close.

Yesterday we posted an article suggesting that Bethesda‘s developers were working on a patch for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Fallout: New Vegas, well now it seems as if things are almost ready for release as an update is being tested.
The PC version has now received two patches, the first contained 200 fixes, whilst the second concentrated more on autosave and quicksave functionality, these two pacthes are great for PC users, however frustrating for console gamers as they are still left with a less than perfect game.

A recent article posted on BethSoft said that the updates for both the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions are in their final stages of testing, they also went on to say they hope these patches are live very soon.

It is nice to hear this from Bethesda to show that they are aware of the problems and are doing their utmost to fix them, let’s just hope the patches arrive pretty soon.

Same here. I'm intending to be a precision instrument of Evil in this game - what with being a soft arse Holier-than-Thou in the previous game.

I won't be following in Cookie's tracks however. Cookie appeared to terminate anything and everything in his way, without realising that half of those people were core to the storyline.

However, I need to buy the bloody game first! ;)

So how are people liking this then? I didn't want to want this game...but turns out I do :(

And new COD and BC Vietnam coming out...how is anyone meant to maintain a normal life over the next few months?!

I was also a goodie 2 shoes in F3 but it did mean having Fawkes following you around which was good. I'm going to be a nasty c*nt this time round. I always get guilty feelings though when being bad even though it's a game, will try and put that aside this time.

Amazon aren't delivering my collectors guide until Tuesday - c***s!

I would have had mine today if I'd put the right address in! (punch own face). Mind, this way I get some blind-time on the game
