fan belt on 1.2 clio mark one

trying to get a new one on, i lossend the tensioner bolt and its not sliding up and down. has anyone got any advice? i realy need to get this done tonite and theres noway im getting buses tomoz lol.

do u mean u have loosed the alternator as this is the tensioner

its the bolt that is sopposed to let it slide up and down.
