a 172 xenon headlight... (sorry for stealing the pic)

and a 182 xenon headlight...

172 has black insert and 182 has lighter grey insert.

is the definitely correct? the same goes for the normal headlights. After 04 facelift to the clio they put the light grey ones in. meaning that some of the early 182's probs had the black ones... im probs wrong though

no idea to be honest mate, i know the 182's started with the lighter inserts but cannot say I've ever seen one with the older style headlights in.
