but ive never owned a clio higher than a k reg, so apart from the rusty rear arches what else should i be lookin out for?

Mine is starting to go rusty around the bump stop things on the boot lid, check for signs of rust in drainage holes in door etc

Same things as a Phase1.

There are lots of things..

If there is a sunroof check around that, prone spot to rusting!! The only imperfection on my clio! And rust around drainage holes as Lunner said, and that is about it...

It looks like a really good condition clio from the pic mate, low mileage and well equipped! It looks a good buy
