FAO Renault techs! Gearbox mount or driveshaft?!

After some advice my car has a knock/clunking noise under accelration and when pulling away check everything slight play in the driveshaft and slight play in the gearbox mount.

Any one expericanced this on a 1.2 16v Dynamique.

By gearbox mount are you checking the one underneath near the exhaust, a.k.a dogbone?

Upper mate, dogbone is brand new

im thinking maybe more driveshaft related as you can feel it through the car

Top engine mount, i gaurentee it.

I had it on the ramps today and could not see or feel any excessive play? Hmm will have another look again tommorow

check the ball joint for up and down play

Ball joints are spot on.

Upper gearbox mount completley shagged! Replacing tommorow and will go from there.
