FAO - Rich - The 206

  No more clio's for me!
As i said yesterday mate, the 206 is the need of serious paint correction, it doesn't look too bad in the pics (simple wash - SRP - EGP), but on close inspection and in the sun light its swirlarama!!

In the pic the car is dusty, its was cleaned on monday morning.

I've tried most products, meg scratch x - cg swirl remover - auto glym, all after a good clay and wash but nothing touches it. :S

You'll need to see in person really to see how crap it actually looks!! lol

Cheers,
Dan

I''ve just got a black gold 182.... Viewed it in dull light..... looked spot on, as in the last few weeks its been raining/cloudy. Picked it up last thursday, looked very nice.... untill the sun came out!!  BIG TIME SWIRLING!!!! Never been polised, been washed with a yard brush imo!! Now i don't have a PC (yet) Been trying alot of prooducts by hand. Best combo i've found, is AG paint renovator.... (pretty harsh, but good results if carefull) followed by Megs paint cleaner (less agressive) then SRP.... i've just done the top half of the car (above the bumpstrips) and the difference is night and day!!! Trick is not to do it all at once, been doing a few panels over the last week or so. Its very hard going, but its working ;) :) Once this is topped off with EGP i think it'll be spot on :)

I'll try and getsome pics tommorow night, the swirling in the sun under the bump strips is pretty horrific. Plenty of elbow grease needed i'm affraid :(
